Landscape enamel

The predecessor of enamel porcelain is copper-painted enamel. Enamel was first introduced to China from Europe. In the late 16th and early 17th centuries, with the frequent trade between the East and the West, European enamel entered China, especially the decorative copper-painted enamel attracted attention. During the Kangxi period, this foreign decorative process began to be applied to porcelain.
